
Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in providing speech and language services.
- Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP.
- Conduct speech-language screenings (without interpretation) using protocols provided by the SLP.
- Document client progress and report findings to the supervising SLP.
- Assist during assessments, including preparing materials and performing clerical tasks.
- Provide services in various settings, such as schools, clinics, or early intervention programs.
- Work under supervision, with required levels of direct and indirect oversight depending on experience and setting.
Qualifications:
California issued SLPA license required.
School Experience preferred not required
