As an Engineering Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience by supporting a variety of engineering projects focused on improving manufacturing processes. This includes exploring ways to make our systems more capable, consistent, and efficient, as well as working on new technology and optimization projects.

You’ll gradually take ownership of assigned projects and support ongoing initiatives. Some projects may also include time studies, performance standard updates, and cost analysis from an industrial engineering perspective.

What You Will Do:

  • Review current process inputs, parameters, controls and outputs and recommend improvements.
  • Evaluate process design and suggest enhancements, including running tests and validating results.
  • Analyze process data, identify trends, and propose improvement actions.
  • Use structured problem-solving and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Lead or contribute to projects that drive measurable improvements and meet deadlines.
  • Perform other tasks as needed in support of the engineering team.

What We're Looking For:

  • Currently enrolled full-time in a Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering program in an accredited University (junior or senior preferred).
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office and the Google Suite (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Experience managing or coordinating projects (school projects or work experience).
  • Able to work with people at all levels in the organization.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and driven to help the team meet challenging goals.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks, work independently and in teams, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and general computer skills.
  • Comfortable working in a busy environment, including during peak periods.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English to perform job duties safely and effectively.
  • Some weekend or holiday work may occasionally be required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable standing for long durations.
  • Strong communication and active listening skills.
  • Able to read and understand detailed documents and instructions.
