
Marketing Assistant Intern (Pack STEM, Mirai Clinical, Summer 2025)

Internship Description:
Pitched at Shark Tank (aired May 9th Fri 2025), Mirai Clinical is an eCommerce for mature women, based in Sparks and rapidly growing with the goal to sell the business for $10M in 2027! Come experience the rapid growth and hands-on (mostly remote) experiences in digital marketing. Heads-up: We move fast and direct communication is preferred, so you need thick skin to absorb the challenges, and we encourage you to make small mistakes to learn. Koko Face Yoga is a sister brand of Mirai Clinical.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Complete 360 hours of work as an intern (32-40 hours per week, 12 weeks total)
- Post and manage social media content for Mirai Clinical and Koko Face Yoga across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
- Create AI-generated UGC (User Generated Content)-style videos for marketing campaigns.
- Design and produce media assets for Paid Advertising campaigns (example: Facebook, Google, etc).
- Shoot original video and photo content for organic and promotional use (smartphone-friendly).
- Create engaging visuals for email and SMS campaigns using Canva
- Shoot original photo/video content—product shots, behind-the-scenes footage, and packaging moments—at our Sparks warehouse for use in marketing.
- Perform other tasks as needed to support brand growth.
Goals and Expectations of the Intern:
By the end of the internship, you will have gained hands-on experience managing content calendars, optimizing social media engagement, and understanding direct-to-consumer growth strategies across two mission-driven brands. You will walk away with a real content portfolio and campaign results.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a degree-seeking student at the University of Nevada, Reno after the Spring ‘25 semester
- Spring ‘25 or earlier graduates are not eligible for the Wolf Pack STEM Internship Program
- Familiarity with social media
- Comfortable with a direct, fast paced working environment.
- Time management skills (we encourage members to show up before meeting time)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Canva, video editing tools would be a plus, but easy to learn
Desired Schedule for Intern:
We offer a flexible schedule as our team works across multiple time zones and does not follow a traditional 9-to-5 structure. However, we typically hold several meetings between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM Pacific Time, and we ask that interns be available during that window for check-ins or collaborative sessions. Outside of those hours, work can be completed independently as long as deadlines are met and communication remains consistent.
Pack STEM internships require interns to complete 360 hours during their internship. It is the intern’s responsibility to ensure this requirement is met.
