About Project REAL:
Project REAL is a nonprofit that's used civics, critical thinking exercises, and law related education to empower youth and young adults in Nevada for more than 20 years. Our interactive elementary experiences introduce youth to basic legal concepts, court systems, and critical thinking to create a foundation of understanding in how life is shaped by law and policy. Our middle school work builds character through understanding of how personal choices shape the world and how youthful decisions can shape how life turns out in adulthood, and our high school and young adult workshops empower youth to achieve the greatest economic, social, professional, and personal successes available to the youthful clients we serve.
These achievements are accomplished through mock trials, courthouse field trips, interactive activities that explore laws and consequences of choice, and immersive lifeskills workshops.
