TAX SEASON INTERNSHIP

Tax Season Internship with Local CPA Firm 

Position offers:

  • Opportunity to learn the latest accounting and tax software (same software used by regional and national CPA firms);
  • Exposure to a variety of tax matters including high net worth individuals, small businesses, trusts and real estate;
  • One-on-one interaction with the partners;
  • Flexibility and willingness to work with your schedule; and
  • Class credit available, if desired;

We are a small, progressive, CPA firm serving both audit and tax clientele. We have enjoyed working with UNR students for over 12 years. This internship provides students with a base knowledge of skills and experience with which to start their careers.

A desirable candidate:

  • Is an upper division accounting student (Junior or higher);
  • Possesses good written or communication skills;
  • Has experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc);
  • Will commit at least 15-20 hours per week to the position; and
  • Is self motivated and eager to learn.
