Part-time Mathnasium Instructor
Job Description:
We are looking for passionate instructors that have a strong mathematics background. Our talented instructors experience daily the impact they make. As a part-time Mathnasium Instructor, you will be trained on the Mathnasium curriculum and teaching methods. You will provide personalized one-on-one personalized instruction in a small group environment.
As a successful Instructor, you will:
- Help kids love Math
- Interact with and motivate students during the instruction hour
- Develop rapport with students and establish a fun learning environment
- Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching math
Qualifications:
- Eager to be mentored
- Desire to develop personally and professionally
- Minimum freshman college level mathematics
- Enthusiasm for mathematics
- Good social and communication skills
Schedule:
- This is a part-time position varying from about 6 to 25 hours per week, depending on the programs you are able to instruct and your availability.
- SPECIFICALLY: Candidates who can work hours between 2:15 pm and 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday. Additional hours could be available.
- Flexible work hours are in afternoons and evenings (Mon-Thurs: 2:15 pm-7:30pm; Sat: 10am-2pm)
