The Recovery Coach will report to the Lead Recovery Coach . This position can be full time or part time. This position may be cross trained at other programs within Thrive Wellness. This position will be considered hourly, nonexempt per wage per hour law. Please submit three (3) professional references with your application

Shifts: 12 hour shifts, Overnight (i.e., 6p - 6a)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years prior behavioral health experience.
- Proficient in spelling, grammar, multi-tasking.
- Self-starter who learns quickly.
- Strong computer skills.
- Demonstrates competency and sensitivity in the areas of multicultural, racial, religious/spiritual, gender, gender identity, gender expression and sexual orientation issues.
Requirements:
- Must pass a federal background check at hire and every 3 years.
- Must adhere to the drug-free workplace act.
- Demonstrate maturity of judgment, attitude, and life skills.
- Must demonstrate an ability to adapt to change and remain flexible.
- Must be a strong team player that works well in a busy environment.
- Must have strong communication skills and be upbeat, positive, and professional when interacting with clients, providers and fellow co-workers.
- Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively prioritize and manage your time unsupervised & independently.
Duties:
- Supervise meals with clients according to meal protocol. Models healthy non-disordered relationship with food as defined by consuming appropriate quantities of food with a wide variety of food choices.
- Assists in or oversees meal preparation per guidelines from Registered Dietician.
- Adheres to all observation and activity levels.
- Adheres to all specific calorie counts and menus guidelines.
- Conducts room searches as needed.
- Attends weekly staff meeting.
- Maintains a therapeutic milieu, and provides crisis intervention to clients as needed.
- Transport clients to outings and follow company transportation safety policy.
- Presents didactic material to clients.
- Ensures all documentation is done in clear, concise, professional and timely fashion.
- Maintains a daily schedule to assure groups and meals are on time.
- Supervises and leads exposures.
- Ensures all clients are in attendance and does the necessary protocols if a client is late or does not come as required.
- Leads groups as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
