Office Shipping Assistant

Position Summary

The Part-Time Office & Shipping Assistant will support our office manager with day-to-day administrative and shipping-related work. This is a good opportunity for a student who is organized, detail-oriented, and interested in learning basic office, logistics, and order-processing skills.

No prior experience is required. We will train the right person.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

  • Preparing freight paperwork for LTL shipments
  • Preparing small parcel shipping paperwork and labels
  • Helping fulfill parts orders
  • Organizing order documents and shipping records
  • Entering or checking basic order information
  • Filing, scanning, and general clerical work
  • Communicating internally with office, production, and shipping staff
  • Helping keep paperwork accurate and organized

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Reliable and punctual
  • Organized and careful with details
  • Comfortable using a computer
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Willing to learn
  • Professional and courteous
  • Able to work independently after training

Prior office, shipping, warehouse, or customer service experience is helpful but not required.

Schedule

This is a part-time position with flexible hours during normal business hours. Exact schedule can be discussed based on availability.

Compensation

Pay is $18 per hour.
