Office Shipping Assistant
Position Summary
The Part-Time Office & Shipping Assistant will support our office manager with day-to-day administrative and shipping-related work. This is a good opportunity for a student who is organized, detail-oriented, and interested in learning basic office, logistics, and order-processing skills.
No prior experience is required. We will train the right person.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Preparing freight paperwork for LTL shipments
- Preparing small parcel shipping paperwork and labels
- Helping fulfill parts orders
- Organizing order documents and shipping records
- Entering or checking basic order information
- Filing, scanning, and general clerical work
- Communicating internally with office, production, and shipping staff
- Helping keep paperwork accurate and organized
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual
- Organized and careful with details
- Comfortable using a computer
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Willing to learn
- Professional and courteous
- Able to work independently after training
Prior office, shipping, warehouse, or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
Schedule
This is a part-time position with flexible hours during normal business hours. Exact schedule can be discussed based on availability.
Compensation
Pay is $18 per hour.
