About Alma Vida:
At Alma Vida, we help motivated people reverse, or at the very least improve, chronic conditions—metabolic disease, obesity, fatigue, insomnia, hormonal imbalance, diabetes, hypertension, and more—through comprehensive lifestyle transformation programs rather than lifelong prescriptions. We help get people off their prescriptions for chronic disease management. Our programs are a meaningful investment in health, and our members are people who understand that their health is the engine of their professional and personal success.
Internship Description:
The intern will own three core projects that build a complete lead-to-enrollment funnel for Alma Vida.
Three Core Projects:
- Build an interactive quiz that helps prospective patients self-select between our self-paced Foundations Program and our coach-supported Foundations Program. Includes branching logic, personalized results pages, and full integration with GoHighLevel® so each outcome routes into the correct follow-up pipeline automatically.
- Design and build a multi-step automated sequence inside GoHighLevel® that moves cold leads from first contact to Foundations Program enrollment. Sequences are segmented by quiz outcome, lead source, and language preference. Copy must be warm, credible, and clinically grounded—not promotional.
- Segment and re-engage our existing contact database of approximately 4,000 leads. Priority segments are (a) patients previously declined for financing who never enrolled into a program, and (b) presentation event attendees who did not book a follow-up appointment. Includes email copy, timing logic, A/B subject line testing, and response tracking.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Complete 150 hours of work as an intern
- Build and configure the patient readiness quiz using Typeform®, GoHighLevel®, or a comparable tool
- Write or adapt email and SMS copy in a warm, professional, trust-building voice
- Set up GoHighLevel® automation pipelines, tags, triggers, and segmentation logic
- Organize and segment the existing contact database for targeted reactivation outreach
- Draft, schedule, and monitor reactivation campaigns with A/B subject line testing
- Track and report weekly on open rates, click-through rates, quiz completions, and booked calls
- Collaborate directly with the founder and patient coordinator to refine messaging and strategy
Goals and Expectations of the Intern:
- Patient readiness quiz is live and integrated with GoHighLevel® within the first 3 weeks
- Nurturing sequence is fully built, tested, and active within 6 weeks
- Database reactivation campaign is segmented, launched, and reporting within 8 weeks
- Weekly metrics show measurable improvement in lead engagement and booked calls
- Every deliverable reflects Alma Vida’s clinical/coaching tone—trusted, grounded, and patient-centered
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a degree-seeking undergraduate OR graduate student at the University of Nevada, Reno after the Spring ‘26 semester
- Spring ‘26 or earlier graduates are not eligible for the Wolf Pack STEM Internship Program

- Agriculture, Biotechnology, and Natural Resources (CABNR)
- Business

- A person who is passionate about helping people, especially with their healthcare needs

- Able to work independently with guidance
Preferred Qualifications:
- GoHighLevel® (CRM) experience is a strong plus
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a significant advantage, though not required
Desired Schedule for Intern:
