Senior Material Flow Engineer
Senior Material Flow Engineer:
- Contributes to maximizing distribution efficiency of site automation equipment and material flow by analyzing risk, optimizing layout, and developing material flow improvements.
- Develops systems for sustaining material delivery methods throughout the facility.
- Optimize material delivery processes by analyzing workflow, space requirements, equipment requirements, storage, and conveyance methods.
- Creates visual management schemes and replenishment triggers to enable operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain standard work for managing, sequencing, and troubleshooting interplant logistics.
- Assists in the design, development, and procurement of material handling equipment required for warehouse management and lineside material staging including storage racks, customized carts, skids, returnable packaging, and powered industrial vehicles.
- Maintains efficient workflow by planning warehouse layout, product flow, and product handling systems. Evaluates and recommends equipment as needed.
- Ensures ergonomic and safe conditions for loading, unloading, and delivering material to production areas.
- Actively participates in layered safety audits and behavior-based safety inspections.
- Maintains product quality through adherence to good distribution practices, Food Safety Preventative Controls, product specifications and quality procedures.
- Monitors and documents quality measures using analytical tools.
Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 10%.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week. Pay Range: $127,500 - $146,600 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field, plus 2 years of related work experience.
Must have 2 years of experience in Project Management, including developing a project charter, creating project plans, establishing work breakdown structures, and facilitating the execution of projects.
Must have 2 years of experience in Material Flow Design.
Must have 2 years of experience in Business Analytics, including reading and interpreting business metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for established business processes.
Must have 2 years of experience in analyzing data to identify opportunities for improvement in operational and material flow processes to improve business performance.
Must have 2 years of experience in Inventory Management in a warehouse environment, including managing item setup and dimensioning, handling pick-pack units of measure, conducting cycle counting, applying FEFO and FIFO rules, and implementing item slotting concepts.
Must have 2 years of experience in Warehouse Management System, including the use of Warehouse Management Systems software (Manhattan WMOS or equivalent).
Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 10%.
