About the Opportunity

GoRural partners with hospitals across Montana and the rural western United States to connect talented healthcare graduates with meaningful careers.

We are currently working with multiple hospitals seeking Radiologic Technologists who are graduating soon or have recently completed their Radiologic Sciences program. These facilities offer an excellent environment for new graduates to build strong clinical experience while working with supportive teams and advanced imaging technology.

Many of our partner hospitals are Critical Access Hospitals, providing broad hands-on experience across multiple imaging modalities and strong mentorship for early career technologists.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates looking for a long-term career path with growth into additional imaging specialties such as MRI, CT, Mammography, Ultrasound, and some with Radiation Therapy.

Position Overview

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging standards.

New graduates will receive support as they transition into professional practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray and related modalities
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process
• Position patients and equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Follow radiation safety standards and protocols
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and clinical teams
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure quality control standards

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or Radiologic Sciences
• Graduating students welcome to apply
• Eligibility for or current ARRT certification
• Ability to obtain state licensure (if required)
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services

International Candidates

GoRural works with many international healthcare professionals already studying in the United States. Candidates currently on F-1 status with OPT eligibility may also be considered depending on the facility and position.
