Position Information:
The Family Support Assistant Program Manager, assists in the management, coordination and supervision of the daily operations of the Family Support Division; assists with the planning, developing and implementing of procedures for child support activities; and performs other related duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Qualifications:
Three years of full-time supervisory experience in child support services or a closely related human services environment OR two years of experience equivalent to a Child Support Collections Supervisor in Washoe County AND a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public administration, business administration, or a closely related field; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

License Or Certificate
A valid driver’s license is required at the time of appointment and must be maintained for continued employment in this classification.

The Washoe County District Attorney's Office, Family Support Division, is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Assistant Program Manager ready to make a meaningful impact on families throughout Washoe County. The ideal candidate would bring supervisory experience in child support or a closely related field and demonstrate the ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Experience guiding teams, interpreting complex regulations, and translating policy directives into effective operational practices would be a strong asset in this role.
