R&D Engineer

Innovative Drive Corporation (IDC) is a multi-disciplinary product design firm that specializes in bringing new products to market in the healthcare industry. IDC offers a truly unique environment for unparalleled professional growth in an exciting field of product design and manufacturing. In this position you will be playing a key role in the development of medical devices in surgical specialties such as: ophthalmology, cardiology, ENT, gastroenterology, sports medicine, obstetrics, and drug delivery. IDC has two mirrored facilities (Redwood City, CA and Reno, NV) that both house vertically integrated R&D resources (6 axis CNCs, injection molding machines, laser cutting and welding, 3D printing, and ISO Class 8 Cleanrooms for pilot line manufacturing to support clinical builds).

Requirements:

  • proficient in Solidworks
  • BSME or BSBME
  • programming a plus
