Tecno Display designs and manufactures high-quality glass display cases and cabinets for retail, museum, and commercial clients across the U.S. and Canada. We are a small manufacturing company based in Sparks, Nevada, with in-house design, engineering, and production.

Position Title: Product Design / CAD Intern
Location: On-site in Sparks, NV (676 Dunn Cir, Sparks, NV 89431)
Hours: ~10–20 hours per week, flexible around classes
 

Position Summary
The Product Design / CAD Intern will support our design and production teams by creating and updating CAD drawings for our glass display cases and cabinet components. This is a hands-on role where your work goes directly to the shop floor and to customers for approvals.

Key Responsibilities

Create and revise detailed CAD drawings for glass display cases, metal frames, and wood cabinetry.

Prepare shop drawings and cut lists used in fabrication and assembly.

Assist with layouts for standard and custom products based on customer specs.

Update and organize drawing files according to Tecno Display standards.

Coordinate with sales and production to clarify dimensions, materials, and hardware details.

Required Qualifications

Currently enrolled in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Drafting/CADD, Industrial Design, or a related program.

Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar).

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and dimensions.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Reliable, organized, and able to manage tasks with guidance.

Preferred Qualifications

Interest in cabinetry, millwork, product design, or manufacturing.

Basic knowledge of materials such as glass, wood, and metal is a plus (not required).
