This position is for a Health Resource Analyst II within the Nevada Health Authority (NHA), Office of Analytics, located in either Carson City, or Reno, NV. The primary focus of this role is to support the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) program through comprehensive data analysis, reporting, and visualization. Key responsibilities include responding to MCH-related data requests; preparing, cleaning, and analyzing datasets using statistical software such as SAS; and producing recurring and ad hoc reports. The analyst will develop and maintain interactive dashboards to visualize MCH trends and key indicators, supporting data-driven decision-making across the agency and with external partners. The position may also perform geospatial analysis to support public health evaluation and planning. This involves geocoding health data, linking individuals or program participants to legislative districts, and creating maps that highlight service needs, program reach, and health disparities. Additional duties include conducting data quality assurance checks, maintaining routine data loads, and providing technical support and training for MCH stakeholders. The analyst collaborates closely with internal and external partners to improve data collection, reporting, and the usability of analytical products.
