Quality Engineering Intern (AEONrv, Pack Intern, Spring 2026)

Internship Description:
The intern will support our Quality Engineer with the creation, review and implementation of Quality procedures and processes. In addition, the intern will assist with Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Action Reports and various quality checks for conformance. This role will interface with cross-functional teams on a day-to-day basis.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Complete 150 hours of work as an intern (10-15 hours per week, 15 weeks total)
The intern will assist the Quality Engineer with all tasks related to the Quality Engineering department and be responsible for creating one or more assigned Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) as an internship project to be implemented by completion of the internship.

Required Qualifications:
- Must be a degree-seeking undergraduate OR graduate student at the University of Nevada, Reno during the Spring ‘26 semester
- Fall ‘25 or earlier graduates are not eligible for the Wolf Pack STEM Internship Program
- Enrolled in an engineering related field.
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Read and interpret floor plans, layouts and technical diagrams.
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Self-motivated and reliable with good communication skills and good analytical problem-solving ability.
- Action oriented, self-starter and fast learner with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting in accordance with the company culture and values.
- Possess a strong sense of work ethic, personal responsibility and commitment to work outcomes, particularly toward quality and safety.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Good written & verbal communication
- Able to precisely follow instructions
- Openness to asking questions
- CAD experience a plus.
Desired Schedule for Intern:
M-F between 7a-4p, and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per week, ideally in blocks of 3+ hours.
Pack STEM internships require interns to complete 150 hours during their internship. It is the intern’s responsibility to ensure this requirement is met.
