Business Administration and Outreach Intern (The Stylish Scribe, Pack Intern, Spring 2026)

Students are highly encouraged to visit the Nevada Career Studio in-person Fridays from 12:00 to 4:00 or use our Virtual Resume + Cover Letter Tune Up service BEFORE applying for these positions. Students are welcome to by any time during our drop-in hours, but we’ll have dedicated staff on Fridays! About The Stylish Scribe:
We're a proudly woman-owned stationery studio located in downtown Reno, just a few minutes away from campus. For over 16 years, we have specialized in designing and producing custom stationery and wedding invitations. Our work is rooted in creativity, elegance, and appreciation for meaningful design. We are looking for an intern to help grown our online presence as well as expand the wholesale side of our stationery business. If you love all things paper and digital design we would love to have you join our team.
Internship Description:
The Business Administration and Outreach Intern would help us create a digital catalog of our current products to send to new wholesale accounts. This would require photography, digital design, editing. They would be going out and meeting with local partners to introduce our company to them and see if our products would fit their business.
We would be interested to see how they might expand our social media presence in the wedding world and local area. Creating videos, posts, etc that feel might benefit the exposure to new clientele.
They would be directly working with the owner during this internship.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Creating a digital catalog of our wholesale products
- Meeting with local and online wholesale partners
- Expanding our online wholesale website
- Creating new and fun videos on our social media platforms
- Potentially working marketing events in the local area
Goals and Expectations of the Intern:
- Complete 120 hours of work as an intern (8-15 hours per week, 15 weeks total)
- Contribute to expanding our online and wholesale business through this program. Work on live products and small business operations. Engage in hands-on creatives processes with direct mentorship from the owner. Leave with a meaningful work and understanding of how their work contributed to expanding our company brand.
- We expect an inter to be proactive, organized and communicate. Asking for help, managing tasks, and bringing new ideas are essential. We expect an intern to represent the brand we have created from scratch and expanded over 16 years.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a degree-seeking undergraduate student at the University of Nevada, Reno during the Spring ‘26 semester
- Experience with Adobe, Canva, and Social Media platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with designing marketing materials, creating videos, and willingness to be meet with local partners in person
Desired Schedule for Intern:
Our office hours are Tuesday-Friday 10am - 5pm. During which you can come to fulfil your hours. Saturday event might be required but not every week. 8 hours a week.
PIGP internships require interns to complete 120 hours during their internship. It is the intern’s responsibility to ensure this requirement is met.
