MidTown Reno

About MidTown Reno:

Looking for an internship that's a little different!? We need someone who wants to help run Reno's coolest neighborhood.

What You'll Do: A little bit of everything. You'll dive into event pre-planning and logistics for First Thursday and Dancing in the Streets, tracking down sponsors, securing vendors, coordinating volunteers, permitting and handling a lot of the behind the scenes work that makes these events happen. You'll help brainstorm and execute campaigns that get people excited about MidTown businesses and events. You'll pop into shops to check in with merchants, help welcome new businesses to the district and keep your finger on the pulse of who's opening and what's happening. Plus, there's grant writing, website stuff, volunteer coordination and whatever random projects pop up (spoiler: something always pops up).

Why MidTown? You'll see every side of what it takes to run a neighborhood and lead a nonprofit, from fundraising to community relations to event logistics to business development. You'll work with artists, entrepreneurs and people who truly care about our community. Instead of doing busy work, you'll be doing real work with real impact. Plus, you get to tell people you work in the coolest neighborhood in Reno and help put on everyone's favorite events.
