We are seeking a competent Technical Engineer to support our customer requirements in troubleshooting ICT test system malfunctions, running PCB technical production, and minor ICT Fixture programming.
Job Description:
This position will be based in Carson City, NV, on-site of our customer and managed by our Irvine, CA headquarters. This is a 6-Month temporary position with opportunity to grow within our global company. Availability to travel is required. Our ideal candidate will possess the fundamental understanding of electronics and electrical systems, with the following preferred skills:
- Knowledge of PCB Production Standards
- Agilent 3070 Test System Operation and Troubleshooting
- Proficiency with Hand and Power Tools
- Breaking Down Circuit Boards
- Interpretation of Blueprints and Schematics
- ICT Fixture Troubleshooting Skills
- Identification of electronic components for troubleshooting and repair
- Knowledge of Solidworks, Artios CAD, other CAD programs
Essential Duties:
- Support Running Customer Product
- AG3070 Trouble Shooting
- Testing & troubleshooting of Circuit Boards
- Diagnose faults and malfunctions, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
- Execute tests to insure the proper operation of new and existing products
- Maintain equipment and work area while adhering to customer work site policies and expectations.
- Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules and deadlines with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
- 1+ years of field service experience providing technically focused support
- 3+ years of troubleshooting and repairing PCBs
- Proficiency in general computing and productivity applications (use of MS Office, generating PDFs, compressing files, communication tools – MS Teams, WhatsApp, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with fluency in compositional and conversational English.
