Dress For Success Reno - Northern Nevada

About Dress For Success Reno - Northern Nevada:

Dress for Success Reno – Northern Nevada is part of a global network of 132 affiliates committed to empowering women to achieve economic independence. Through our programs — including professional attire, career development, and job readiness support — we help women build confidence, gain employment, and thrive in work and life.

Our affiliate operates with one full-time staff member and two part-time employees, relying heavily on the dedication of our volunteers to help deliver programs and services. As a small but mighty team, we foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and shared purpose — everyone contributes to our mission-driven work.

While many program initiatives are underway, our greatest need is in marketing and social media. Storytelling and strategic messaging are vital to building public awareness and generating the fundraising support necessary to sustain our programs.

In January 2026, Dress for Success Worldwide will launch a global brand refresh, and our local affiliate will participate in the rollout. This internship provides an exciting opportunity to support that effort while helping to launch other key initiatives — including a quarterly newsletter, expanded digital storytelling, and marketing for our Shop for Success Thrift Boutique in Midtown Reno. Every sale from the boutique directly supports our nonprofit mission and the women we serve.
