About the Job
Kickstart your career in natural resource management as a Wildland Firefighter with the BLM. These are entry-level, permanent career seasonal positions—no prior fire experience required. You’ll receive training, federal certifications, and hands-on experience protecting communities and public lands.
What You’ll Do
- Fight wildfires using hand tools and teamwork.
- Support prescribed fire and fuels projects.
- Train, work outdoors, and gain skills for a long-term fire career.
