Salesforce Business Analyst Intern
We are a small & growing Salesforce Implementation Partner providing Salesforce and CRM support to fast moving SaaS/startups and non-profit organizations. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, and client-focused Salesforce Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you’ll manage multiple client projects, ensure smooth operations between on and offshore team members, accurate and timely requirements gathering, and even have hands-on experience with Salesforce and the opportunity to earn multiple Salesforce Certifications(s).
About the Role
- Hours: Rolling internship (all seasons), up to 25 hours per week (hours may vary each week)
- Compensation: $20/hour, paid every 15 days

- Must Have: Access to a modern day laptop or desktop with strong WiFi; laptop not provided; WiFi stipend not provided; smartphone mobile device with ability to download and access applications while away from the computer (i.e. Slack, Email, etc.)

Key Responsibilities
- Bridge and serve as primary representative between on and offshore team members and stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of project status, timelines and outstanding requirements amongst all team members.
- Collect and document project requirements during client calls, project check-ins, and dedicated discovery sessions.
- Work on project teams to enhance existing Salesforce functionality for clients.
- Document business processes through process mapping.
- Build, test, and deploy code within the Salesforce platform.
- Collaborate and brainstorm with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure accountability for work assigned and follow-through to completion.
- Create reports and dashboards in Salesforce to support various objectives.
- Streamline customer interaction workflows to improve customer support and satisfaction.
- Assist in testing, validating, and quality assuring new Salesforce features, automations, and process changes.
- Contribute to documentation of project requirements, release details, training materials, and best practices.

Who You Are
- Experienced with Salesforce and/or other CRM systems is preferred but not required.
- Major or degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) or other Business degree and interested in technology/software as a service (SaaS).
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-project environment and is able to learn [technology] quickly.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage time effectively.
- A problem solver who can identify solutions and recommend next steps without step-by-step direction.
- Comfortable managing client relationships and engaging in client-facing conversations.

Preferred Qualifications
- Junior, senior, or graduate student pursuing a degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Excel or other data analysis tools.
- Strong communication skills—able to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn.
- Exposure to Salesforce or other CRM platforms through coursework, internships, or personal learning (e.g., Salesforce Trailhead).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) or SQL is a plus.
- Interest in CRM & technology strategy, sales processes, and customer engagement.
- Leadership roles in school or outside organizations are preferred.
