The Office of AIDS (OA) is a division within the California Department of Public Health, Center for Infectious Diseases. The HIV Care Branch, within OA, has responsibility for programs related to the delivery of care, treatment, and support services for people living with HIV/AIDS. Programs are designed to provide an effective and comprehensive continuum of care to underserved individuals.

This position supports the California Department of Public Health’s mission and strategic plan by maintaining the delivery of care, treatment, and support services for people living with HIV/AIDS; and providing an effective and comprehensive continuum of care to underserved individuals.
The candidate works under the direction of the Health Program Manager I. The Associate Governmental Program Analyst serves as a program advisor and assists in the administration, planning, and oversight of the HIV Care Program (HCP), which is funded by the federal Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) (Part B). The program advisor oversees contractual and programmatic compliance and provides ongoing technical guidance to HCP subrecipients. This position requires strong writing and analytical skills, and knowledge with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams.
