About MOXIE MOTO:
MOXIE MOTO is a women’s motorsports apparel startup on a mission to shake up the industry—creating gear that actually fits, performs, and looks good. We’re in a super exciting phase: early-stage, pre-launch, and laying the foundation for a brand that’s bold, community-driven, and built from the inside out.
This internship is hands-on and high-energy. You won’t be assisting—you’ll be building. From shaping our voice and planning content to testing campaign ideas and helping us grow, you’ll get to be part of the real work that brings a brand to life. Fall projects will build off our current roadmap and include content strategy, newsletters, social planning, and campaign experimentation.
Internship Description:
MOXIE MOTO is seeking a bold, Creative & Visual Branding Intern who’s excited to build the look and feel of a brand from the ground up. This is a rare chance to create original visual assets for a startup in its pre-launch phase—think campaign graphics, social media templates, email visuals, and experimental content ideas.
You’ll work directly with the founder (a Parsons-trained designer) to translate brand values and product storytelling into dynamic visual touchpoints. Expect to stretch creatively, gain real-world feedback, and walk away with a portfolio full of strategic, brand-led work that didn’t exist before.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Complete 120 hours of work as an intern (8-15 hours per week, 15 weeks total)
- Design visual assets for newsletters, social media, and brand campaigns
- Build digital mood boards and assist in defining brand color, type, and visual tone
- Collaborate with founder and marketing intern to maintain visual consistency
- Translate brand goals and audience insight into content visuals
- Organize and archive brand assets in shared folders
- Present design concepts during team reviews and iterate with feedback
Goals and Expectations of the Intern:
The intern will be expected to bring a collaborative attitude, attention to detail, and a strong sense of visual storytelling. They will help shape MOXIE MOTO’s design identity from scratch, with guidance and feedback throughout. By the end of the internship, the intern will have contributed to real-world branding work that ties to marketing goals and will walk away with a well-documented portfolio of creative output.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a degree-seeking student at the University of Nevada, Reno during the Fall ‘25 semester
- Summer ‘25 or earlier graduates are not eligible for the Wolf Pack STEM Internship Program

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing for social media or email
- Familiarity with mood board creation and visual branding
- Interest in women-led brands, outdoor or motorsport culture, or startups
- Understanding of how visual design supports messaging or brand growth
Desired Schedule for Intern:
Flexible schedule with 8-15 hours per week preferred. Intern must be available for a weekly check-in and at least one in-person collaboration session per month. Most design work can be completed remotely and submitted asynchronously.
Pack STEM internships require interns to complete 120 hours during their internship. It is the intern’s responsibility to ensure this requirement is met.
