Special Education Teacher, Extensive Support Needs (Moderate/Severe), 2025-26 School Year, Special Education

Job Summary

Under supervision of Special Education Program Administrator, will provide quality education to severely handicapped students, ages 18 months to 22 years, through a commitment to team participation in planning and implementation of student programs; a functional, community based curriculum; communication and social skill development; interagency cooperation, and a strong parent-teacher-student linkage. Opportunities exist to develop and experiment with adaptive technology, vocational education, and integration with non-handicapped populations. Does related work as required. 183 Workdays, Full Time, Monday-Friday

Requirements / Qualifications

A successful candidate must possess a valid California credential or have the ability to secure a California credential. Interns are accepted. This position is represented by the California Teachers Association.
